Site Characteristics

The project site on Miaozihu Island is endowed with extraordinary natural endowments - the precipitous and craggy cliffs and the vast and boundless sea view form a strong visual impact, becoming the most distinctive label of the site. Based on this unique advantage, the core demand of the design is clear and definite: to create a building with extremely high recognition to shape a unique "sense of arrival", allowing visitors to feel the unique charm of the integration of architecture and nature as soon as they step into the site.

Core Design Strategies

To achieve this goal, the design team has established two core strategies: First, plan a public tourist route that runs through the entire area. Through scientific and reasonable path design, it guides tourists to reach various scenic spots and functional areas smoothly, maximizing the activation of the site's tourism value and public attributes. Second, adhere to the design logic of "working in accordance with the situation", allowing the building to conform to the texture of the mountain. It presents itself in a posture of "growing out of the reef cliffs", abandoning the rigid transformation of the natural terrain, and forming an organic symbiotic relationship between the building and the site, creating a highly surreal main visual scene.
