Danzhou Seaside Station
Located just a few meters from the coast, this concrete building emerges naturally from the black volcanic rocks scattered all over the shore. The elevated ground floor design not only avoids coastal erosion under severe weather conditions but also serves as a small seaside rest stop.
Focusing on the integration of marine conservation and cultural tourism services, this project is renovated and upgraded on the basis of the original building outline, and is planned as a whole with the viewing platform to improve the supporting functions of the area and create a regional landmark. Leveraging the advantages of the elevated ground floor, the project further constructs small seaside activity exhibition and sea-viewing rest spaces to enrich scenarios; the partially elevated first floor accommodates flexible functions such as small markets, exhibitions, teaching, and retail. Ultimately, it will be built into a distinctive small building with both practical value and communication effect, scheduled for completion in 2026.
