GN Architects Wins 2022 WAN Awards - Architect / Practice of the Year

The results of the 2022 UK WAN Awards were officially announced in London from November 17th to 18th, with the awards ceremony simultaneously streamed live on YouTube.

After announcing the winners of the Gold Awards in 33 categories, the two grand prizes of this year's WAN Awards, "Architect / Practice of the Year" and "Eleftheria Square," were awarded to GN Architects and Zaha Hadid Architects respectively.

This year, the organizing committee awarded the Architect / Practice of the Year prize to GN Architects in recognition of its active efforts and achievements in professionalism, innovation, and research. It is understood that this award was not awarded in the previous year.

Meanwhile, GN Architects' Taikang Shen Garden also received the Healthcare GOLD Award. Previously, GN's wellness project, Joyful Community (Shanghai), also won the Gold Award in the undeveloped wellness category of the same award last year.

Founded by the international media platform World Architecture News, the WAN Awards have been held for 14 years and have a very wide global reach. The judging panel consists of 53 top international experts from firms and academic institutions around the world. In 2022, 145 projects were shortlisted from more than 2,000 submissions, and 34 gold awards were given out.
