GN Architects Retains Top Spot in National Ranking of Health and Wellness Design Value
On April 26, 2024, the "2024 China Health and Wellness Planning and Design Value Forum," hosted by Yihan Think Tank-Yilisheng Health and Wellness Industry Research Institute and co-hosted by Kaijian Elderly Care, was successfully held at Shanghai Kaijian Health and Wellness Garden. The "2023 Health and Wellness Design Value Ranking" was released at the forum, and GN Architects, with its outstanding design capabilities and innovative practices, won first place in the national ranking of “2023 Health and Wellness Design Value Research.” This marks the second consecutive year that GN Architects has held the top spot on this list.
GN Architects has always adhered to the philosophy of “creating meaningful places for an aging society,” using innovative designs to meet the aspirations of the elderly for a better life. In recent years, GN Architects has received numerous awards in the health and wellness field, including topping the national ranking of the China Civil Architectural Design Medical and Elderly Care Category in 2020. These achievements further solidify GN Architects’ leading position in the health and wellness design field.

At this forum, Guan Yiqun, Managing Partner of GN Architects, delivered a keynote speech entitled "Daily Life - Design Practice and Reflections on Senior Living Communities," sharing GN Architects' innovative concepts and practical achievements in the field of senior living communities. Adhering to the philosophy of "creating meaningful places for an aging society," GN Architects has demonstrated its leading position in the field of senior living design through numerous project practices.
Furthermore, GN Architects was shortlisted for the 2024 WAF World Architecture Festival and has won numerous domestic and international design awards, such as the 2022 WAN Awards - Architect / Practice of the Year in the UK. Their project, "Junyi Oriental Senior-living Community, Nanjin," was selected as one of only four aging-friendly housing construction and renovation projects nationwide by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of China.
