As Taikang’s first senior care community in Northeast China and a Liaoning Provincial Five-Star Elderly Care Institution, this is an upgraded version of Taikang’s 1.0 elderly care model—a high-end vibrant middle-class "Five-in-One" senior care community. Strategically situated in southern Shenyang, it enjoys complete infrastructure, convenient transportation and superior location.

Targeting high-net-worth insurance clients across the three northeastern provinces (who value life, spiritual fulfillment in old age and communal retirement), its design adheres to the philosophy of "sunny, natural, engaging". Key areas (partial lobby, gourmet & social hubs) are scattered to revitalize shared spaces; the commercial street facade integrates nostalgic symbols and art, blending aesthetics with daily life.

Two core questions guided the design: Must Northeast seniors relocate to Sanya for winter? Is retirement confined to a few activity rooms? Our vision was a "Forest Settlement"—sunny, nature-close and vibrant. We blurred spatial boundaries to enhance fluidity, drawing inspiration from metaphors like "single tree forming a forest" and "tree-lined avenue", while balancing spatial experience, tree-column design, interior aesthetics and engineering feasibility.

Phase I (80,000㎡), operational since late 2021, includes 6 senior apartments, 1 central clubhouse and 1 rehabilitation hospital. Its 10,000㎡ community center ("Super Complex") features tree-stump columns along the main street, connecting functions into an integrated, fluid clubhouse.
