Liantou Ningyue Liangyuan Nursing Community

-- United Investments and Properties / Hubei, China

Located within the science, education, and healthcare sector of the Hubei Wutong Lake Smart Health City masterplan, the community is a world-class wellness destination integrating health and wellness, community living, and family-friendly experiences. The project's design is centered around the core concepts of "sunlight, nature, vibrant openness, and cultural heritage," blurring the boundaries between the community and enhancing openness between the community and the city. Communities need to grow in harmony with the city. Ningyue Liangyuan Retirement Community seamlessly integrates a health and wellness community with a commercial district. By systematically interweaving elements around the project's vibrant sunken garden, the project blurs the boundaries between communities and fosters a sense of interaction between the community and the city. This not only opens up the "walls" of the health and wellness community but also demonstrates an unprecedented embrace of urban commerce.

The design utilizes a multi-story clustered layout. Through design features such as an elevated ground floor covering nearly 10,000 square meters and pedestrian corridors, the health and wellness residential area blends seamlessly with the activity areas below, ensuring both public and private activities.

The project owner is a core subsidiary of the urban renewal division of Hubei United Investments and Properties Group, primarily responsible for urban renewal, real estate development, and commercial operations. After more than a decade of continuous development, the project has completed over 50 functional development projects, with total assets approaching 50 billion yuan, a land reserve of 5,000 mu (approximately 166 acres), and a development area exceeding 30 million square meters. The project has developed a diverse business model encompassing urban renewal, regional integrated development, high-quality residential development, smart offices, commercial complexes, shopping malls, all-age healthcare, long-term rental apartments, art galleries, and high-end hotels.

Currently, the client unit is positioning itself as a "comprehensive service provider for the entire urban renewal industry chain," shifting from traditional real estate development to urban renewal, and from community-based residential development to larger-scale urban functional development. This initiative aims to comprehensively enhance the level of comprehensive urban service operations, promote the upgrading of urban functional facilities and the transformation of old and new driving forces, and contribute to the optimization of urban spatial structure and the improvement of urban quality.
